An open environment where parents discuss and share strategies for better preparing their teens for the current overly sexualized culture our kids live in. One of the greatest gifts we can receive as parents is learning what has worked (and not worked) for other parents. If you are a parent who wants your child to have a healthy, strong, and positive outlook on his/her body and sexual being, join us.
This is a group for kids age 10-16 and their parents to come together and discuss all things game-related. Fantasy, role-playing games, video games, anime--if there's dice or cheat codes, we're there. Future meetups might include trips to the park, video arcades, or gaming sessions in members' homes.
This is a group for moms to come together to support, share and inspire each other to be their best at empowering and growing their daughters through the challenging years of the teens. The tween and teen years can be daunting at times for our young daughters and can also be exhausting for us moms as well. It's really difficult to meet other couples or parents in their mid-30's who have kids the same age as ours (10, 11, and 13). Just about everyone we meet either has kids our boys' ages but are in their mid-to-late 40's/early 50's but don't enjoy the same types of activities we do; OR they are couples who are into our types of activities but have no kids, or really young kids who still require constant supervision or can't enjoy the common activities/events due to age.
